QUESTION 1: WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT AND INSURANCES ARE ACCEPTED?

 ANSWER: We accept cash, check, money order, and credit card. We accept Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans, Cigna, Tri-Care, and United Behavioral Health (Optum). We accept Medicaid plans as long as it is under Anthem Health Keepers Plus.

QUESTION 2: HOW DO I SCHEDULE MY FIRST INTAKE APPOINTMENT OR MAKE A REFERRAL?

ANSWER: Fill out a referral form and email to admin@horseandsoulcounseling.com. Once that referral form is received a staff member will be in contact to discuss scheduling. You may also send us a message through our contact form. This will send an email to a staff member who will respond.

QUESTION 3: WHAT IF MY FIRST APPOINTMENT IS SCHEDULED? WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?

ANSWER: You should have been sent a link to our patient portal via email. Through that link you will receive an intake packet you will be required to fill out prior to attending your first appointment. Also, please bring your ID and insurance card.


QUESTION 4: HOW LONG MAY I WAIT BEFORE I GET MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?

ANSWER: This varies depending on the service you are requesting.

QUESTION 5: WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION FOR THERAPEUTIC SERVICES?

ANSWER: We are located at 27195 Old office Road, Culpeper, VA. 22701, by appointment only. Times vary depending on the Clinician. We have minimal after school/work appointment spaces available. We do offer a variety of Telehealth sessions and in-person session times.


QUESTION 6: WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT MY ASSIGNED CLINICIAN FOR SCHEDULING?

ANSWER: The best way to communicate with your Clinician between appointments is through your patient portal. You have the ability to check scheduled appointments and schedule your own appointments. You will also be sent reminder emails 24 hours before your scheduled session. If you are currently an active participant and do not have access to the patient portal please use the link below. You may also contact your Clinician directly. We do not accept text messages. The most efficient form of communication in regards to scheduling is via email.
